We Need 
Sports Writers/Reporters/Editors
Photographers

Have you ever opened the local newspaper the morning after your favorite high school hockey team played a big game, only to find a small box score on the back page of the sports section?  Or worse yet, find no coverage at all?  Are you a sports minded individual majoring in English?, Journalism?, Photography? or just love ice hockey?  Have you ever said, "I could have written a better article than that"?  Well now's your chance.

CDHSHL.org, the Capital District High School Hockey League's online website, is currently looking for volunteer, freelance Sports Writers, Reporters, Editors and/or Photographers, to cover Section II ice hockey.  All articles and photographs will be published at www.cdhshl.org.

  • Cover any Section II ice hockey game

  • Write a sports related article and submit it to cdhshl.org

  • Interview players, coaches, fans

  • Write Pre-Season Analysis, Post-Season Wrap-Ups, Features, Essays, Editorials, etc.

  • Take action photos

  • No experience necessary

  • Possibly earn credit in school

  • A great opportunity to earn your "Byline"

  • Let your resume say- "Works Published"

Of course we can't pay you anything, but the experience will be invaluable.
